Falling in love again is an exploration of the way love is performed, from grotesque to sexy, occasionally touching, intellectual or even hilarious. Through a compulsive repetition, the song made popular by Marlene Dietrich is transforming into a litany, revealing the strangeness behind the current structures of love and the artist's struggle. She can't help shifting in and out of the internalised male gaze, falling constantly, but she always somehow picks herself up. Noemi performs as an old-fashioned diva, a clown and a bloody balloon-popping monster. Every Falling in love (again) is different, depending on the audience/the person, the atmosphere, the room - and it can go from ecstatically hot to painfully subtextual.  This time the performance will include Kenny Stenger on guitar.  Noemi V Levovnik is an interdisciplinary artist working with performance art, sound, text and moving image. Noemi completed her Master’s in contemporary visual art, cinema and new media in Paris and Quimper, France. She is currently based in Berlin.  Kenny Stanger is a multidisciplinary guitarist and pianist, who has performed and composed in a wide range of genres and styles. In 2008 he created “Moe’s Cafe”, a solo guitar project. Originally from New York, where he completed studies in classical guitar, he is now a Berliner since 12 years.
