AmuAmu – is Marcus Sur, alias Kontraster, aka Max Mars. A long, internationally woven discography unfolds more as sonic tracing than as conventional output.  The DJ and producer out of Essen, Ruhr area, stands for radical musical openness and he brings this ethos in its most stripped-down form to the decks: a pure vinyl set. A physical journey through crates of records, driven by intuition, experience, and a finely tuned sense for the moment.

AmuAmu digs deep – uncovering a wild, eclectic spectrum: tropical rhythms collide with dusty disco, indie edges scrape against punk attitude, while references from different contexts flow into each other without friction.
