The last time I played live is already quite a few years ago, so I am very excited about tonight!!!

Perhaps as a counterpart to my previous work, right now I refuse to settle for a "finished" song, I don't want to "polish the details", I don't want to make a "final version". Or simply said - I don't want to actually create an actual song as such. I just enjoy playing some grooves :)

So come on Thursday the 20th of April for a short live set, but don't expect songs or club tracks.

What you will rather hear is just some electronic listening grooves, some aimlessly strolling soundscapes, some melodies chasing each other over the beats, not deciding where to settle, not looking for a buildup or trying to make you dance, not singing their hearts out or making a statement.

Like the smell of spring during an aimless walk through the city on a warm night, the music enters your head and clears some free space for new thoughts and pleasant conversations....

Maybe one day the grooves will turn into tracks. But not now. For now it's just the joy of the aimless stroll...

Shots is an analog on demand performance. As “on demand” are characterised systems which allow users to select and watch or listen to video or audio content such as movies and TV shows when they choose to, rather than having to watch at a specific broadcast time.

Choreographic Shots combines the structure of a digital on demand system with the order system of a bar. It gives the audience the possibility to choose and order what they would like.

The audience receives a catalog of available short performances, that are offered as shots. Each shot has a characteristic title and is accompanied by an audiotrack, a costume change or a light change. The genres may vary from pop to folk, from clasical to rock, from spiritual to minimal and so on.... Through the evening the performers are shifting through real and ficitonal identities, revealing to the audience unknown aspects of autobiographical moments. What would you like to have?

Happy Birthday, Eschschloraque!! 22 Jahre Eschschloraque heißt über 2 Jahrzehnte alternative Clubkultur und erhaltener, pulsierender Underground in der Berliner Mitte! Das ist in einem 2017er Stadtbild nicht nur spektakulär, sondern vor allem Grund zum Feiern ­– mit allen Freund/-innen & Kolleg/-innen, mit allen Unterstützer/-innen & Gästen  ... und dem passenden Spektakel: dem Big Birthday Beats Battle!   

Unzählige Beats haben den Künstlerclub seit seiner Geburt 1995 beschallt und wenn uns 22 Jahre später ein Battle um die Ohren fegt, dann kommen stellvertretend für eine bewegte Clubgeschichte Meister/-innen der Plattenspieler zusammen und loten das Feld zwischen Turntables und Bar aus – lasst gemeinsam feiern, was war, ist und kommen mag! DJs mit Vinyl, Gäste mit Cocktails gewappnet, wird das Battle zur Party und das Feld zur Tanzfläche, wo legendäre Sound-Geschütze aufgefahren werden: Berühmt für ihr BadassBassBombardement hat Resident-DJ Vela die Bässe von den Turntables aus in der Hand! Das noch befeuert von den
DJs Blind Date & Supersiren, vibrieren durchdringende Beats von Electro, House und Techno bis hin zu Funk und Breakbeat durch den Club. Im Donner der Bässe fehlt dann nur noch der Rollin’ Thunder: Er nimmt den „dritten Plattenspieler“ zum Instrument und lässt mit Scratches & Acapellas die passenden „Störgeräusche“ krachen!
Ganz großes Kaliber ist zum Geburtstag aber noch nicht alles ... war da nicht noch was?

Doch: Mythen und Legenden um den Club, als sich seine Pforten nur mit der eigens geprägten Marke für Mitglieder öffneten. 22 Jahre Eschschloraque heißt auch einen Künstlerclub mit Kultstatus zu feiern – und was wäre er ohne Mythen und Legenden? Also lasst sie einfach wiederbeleben: Zum Geburtstag kann sich jeder, der seine Marke mitbringt, den Eintritt schenken!  Und was wäre das Eschschloraque ohne alle Angehörigen und Gäste? Ob mit oder ohne Marke, ob seit den Anfängen oder nicht: Lasst zusammen feiern, was war, ist und bleiben soll!
